Default OT: NFL Hall of Fame Game (Colts/Redskins) [Pre-Season]

It's been a 6 month drought but football is unofficially back tonight, anyone going to watch any of the game?

A Manning-less Colts team taking on the Redskins in a meaningless exhibition in Canton, but I'll still watch the first quarter probably. First of five pre-season games for the Colts.

8:00pm on NBC.

Colts players expected/confirmed not to play in tonight's game...

-Peyton Manning (knee)
-Marvin Harrison (knee)
-Dwight Freeney (foot)
-Bob Sanders (shoulder)
-Lyjuan Hagler (pectoral muscle)
-Ryan Lilja (knee)
-Tom Santi (knee)
-Melvin Bullitt (thumb)
-Charles Dillon (foot)
-Ben Ishola (foot)
-Bary Brackett (hip)
-Clint Session (calf)

Sure tons of Redskins fans will be there coming off the inductions of Art Monk and Darrell Green. As for a tidbit the Redskins are tied with the Chicago Bears for the most HOF Game all-time wins. (4-0)

I've watched the last two HoF games. I get excited but then the games are dreadfully boring.

They'll find out Randy can't run consistently anymore. He'll drive [Tom] Brady and [Bill] Belichick crazy. This is just my personal opinion from what I saw: He's losing his legs. He's becoming an old man fast.

Indeed, thus why I don't picture myself watching for long.

Hey, it's football - I'll watch at least the 1st quarter. Can't wait for the Pats on Thursday! I always watch the whole game (my hubby says, "what for?") as I can't get enough of the Pats!!

Same thing every year...can't help but get excited, but also can't help but get bored quickly.

I always go into this game saying "THIS year I am gonna watch it all...it's football, which I have been waiting since the Super Bowl for! Who cares if they aren't starters...it's FOOTBALL and that is the important thing."

Of course, by the end of the first quarter I am thinking it's time to look for something else to watch.

However, this year I am gonna watch it all.

I'm interested to see how Colt Brennan looks, lot of Redskins fans hating that pick.

Also seeing Jason Taylor for the first time in a Redskins uniform will be neat.

I'd be a lot more interested if Manning/Harrison/Freeney and Sanders were actually playing.

I think Taylor and Portis are sitting this one out too.

Boo-urns.

At least we'll get to see an epic battle between Colt Brennan and Jared Lorenzen.
