Default Win Lose or Draw enjoy it...

this is prob the best time to be a pats fan, the playoff run and the run from the jets game has been nothing but exciting... but when this sunday comes, dont think draft, dont think will ocho be back.. , dont think anything else but enjoying 2 people that have brought alot of joy to us pats fans the last 10 years belichick brady playing in another super bowl... we always have the team to go back, but how much longer do we expect this to last.... Belichick will be 60 has 2 more years on his contract, Brady has 3 years left.. if we are lucky we could have one more super bowl run next year, but 2008 could have had another chance at redeeming sb 42 loss.. but bernard pollard... and we know what happend.. so appricate the 2 men that brought us joy as pats fans because it could be gone before you know it... just ask peyton manning....

I certainly won't enjoy anything if we lose.

The Pats will be competitive as long as Brady plays, but I'd be surprised if they stayed on top and at the 1 or 2 seed level for 5 more years.

Theoretically, the OP is right. But, try as I might, I can't live in a "theoretically" world when the Pats are in the SB against a team that gave us our collective worst nightmare four years ago. He's a better man than me if he can "enjoy" this week and this game as a Pats fan. My hat's off to him.

I'll let you know whether I could "enjoy" the game 'round about 10PM Sunday night. That's the best I can do.

Brady's strength is making his reads quickly and correctly not chucking it downfield. Diminishing arm strength shouldn't be too much of an issue if he sticks to short to intermediate route passes (kind of like he does now).

Let's not hijack this thread into a "how long does Brady have" thread, but I think 3--5 years is the outside, given that Brady takes a lot of hits and has already lost a full season to injury. I'd say 1--3, playing at the highest level, at the outside.

Not for nothing is 37 the average retirement age of SB Era QB's in the HOF; and, even that stat is inflated by Warren Moon retiring at 44 and players from another era like Sonny Jurgensen and Johnny U retiring at 40. Aikman hung it up at 34, Bradshaw at 35 and Bob Griese at 36.

Let's just enjoy what we have while we have it.

The use of the term 'draw' is stupid in the title,it's win or lose, nothing else

The Super Bowl doesn't end in a tie

I get your point OP, and I agree to some extent.

I would only tweak it a bit. I will not be enjoying it a whole lot if we lose but I certainly recognize and and appreciate the accomplishments of our team, considering all the strikes against us this year.

...and I certaintly recognize both (1) how lucky we are as fans, and (2) the fact that it is not a this year or next year thing with this team. They are hopefully built for a couple more years of success.

If they win I will enjoy it for sure...if they lose I certainly appreciate the effort and acknowledge that this team will be competitive for a while...and I certainly do enjoy that!!

Now, go get it boys....
