Default Just call New England Patriots QB Tom Brady, who can be one nervous cat, Tom 'Fraidy'

Of all the obnoxious, nausiating, over the top stories ive seen this week this takes the cake.

Tom Brady is a "fraidy cat" Tom Fraidy Brady I hope TB reads this, it may not be directly from a Giants player but some have implied it.

Just call New England Patriots QB Tom Brady, who can be one nervous cat, Tom 'Fraidy' - NY Daily News

Tom Brady may be NFL royalty with three Super Bowl rings and his super model wife and the SoCal mansion big enough to have a sleepover with all his Patriots teammates, but sources say he is still human.

I spoke to an NFL assistant coach Thursday whose team did extensive film study of what the Jets did to Brady in their playoff victory last year. The coach’s report was startling for a future Hall of Famer who might be the second best quarterback in NFL history after Joe Montana.

The problem i have with these *** holes is that they'll disappear if and when the Pats beat the Giants, they'll be nowhere to be found.

Honestly, not even worth a reaction. First it's the Daily News (not a real paper) and second, anything said by someone who's "ascared" (speaking of "fraidy") of putting his/her name on it, isn't worth a *****.

I usually ignore them but this one pissed me off, and i hope if TB reads it it pisses him off too. Honestly i can't believe the stream of chest pounding bull sh1t in these papers, its like Jabba the Gut was a ghost writer.

I know Lupica writes a lot of ludicrous crap and he knows it, readers can't comment on his BS

It's nice to see that most of the comments to that article appear to be from Giants fans and they are roundly calling this guy a retard for writing this article. I particularly like this guys comments.

Quote:
Gutless is right. Myers uses a quote from a coach who won't be named, and then takes Giant's players quotes out of context. In the same interview Justin Tuck said "Some guys don'€™t get rattled,"€ Tuck said. "€œEven in that Super Bowl at the end of the game, he's getting lit up and he's still throwing passes for 70 yards down field. He still led their team down the drive before that to what seemed like a game-winning touchdown at that point. "€œI dare say we hit him almost 30 times in that game, so if that didn'€™t rattle him, I'm not sure if we can rattle him. But more than anything, it's about just not giving him the time to complete passes like that."

The "getting to Brady" is the theme of every Defense. Nothing new.

The current Pats OL along with Gronk shouldn't allow the Giants D to pressure Brady all game long. Pats have to run more to keep Giants D honest. Lets hope Ridley is active as he gives the Pats the best shot at breaking a long one. Just HANG ONTO THE BALL Stevan !....

The hurry up O should help slow the Giants D down also. A smart gameplan by BOB and Josh along with Brady wanting to atone for last weeks lousy performance should be a plus for Pats.

I think it's fair to say that Brady has shown an occasional tendency to be more affected by multiple early hits than he was before his knee injury. I think it's foolish to go much further than that.

When did Gary Meyer go from anti-Giants contrarian to homer douche?

Examples of the Giants players or coaches that implied this? They might have implied that the way to beat Brady is to put pressure on him, but that's common sense. A QB on his butt all the time is rarely a winning QB. That's not an insult. If anything it's a compliment to imply the only way to beat the guy is put him on his back.

Kind of a stupid article there. The reason he was hit and rattled was because the jets worked on neutralizing all the money pass plays in our arsenal. Brady's standing there with time, and standing and standing and no ones open.

To think someone who sees no receivers open and knows he's going to get hit has another reaction, is just stupid.

Amazing how brave he is when he hits receivers in a fraction of a second because the plays work.

It's like saying hitting someone in the head with a hammer is a good strategy, because the hammer is harder than their soft head.

Of course he isn't built to slough off or run from rushers all day, some qbs are.
