Default Anyone else here learn a LOT from Madden?

I feel like I've learned so much and become so connected to this team from playing the NFL video games. Between that and NFL.com and of course this forum, I feel like I've learned so much (and realized how little I still know).

Anyone else feel like really digging into scripting plays in virtual reality has made them a better football/Pat's fan?

when i read this I thought you meant actually learning something from Madden himself LOL. I learned from Madden that you never go for the game winning field goal in the super bowl with 1 minute and no time outs left with a rookie QB.

"He’s the greatest quarterback to ever play the game. He goes from being a rookie that nobody is expecting anything from, to taking over with people saying he can’t do it, to winning three Super Bowls....It should already be obvious he’s the greatest quarterback to ever have played. "

- Steelers S Troy Polamalu on Tom Brady

I learned that there is a B hole and an A hole. And sometimes the defense will go right up the A hole. I'm not making that up. I'm paraphrasing but, he said that on MNF.

See this is why I prefer to call them the A gaps and B gaps... unless of course the A Hole is different
