Default Will Sunday be the Loudest Game in Gillette History?

I've only seen about 4 or 5 games at Gillette with only one of them being a playoff game which was against the Titans, none of which were very loud. The Titans game obviously wasn't because of how freezing it was. I heard that last week the crowd was loud, so I'm just wondering from the regulars if they think this is going to be the loudest crowd Gillette has ever seen?

I think in the past Pats fans were spoiled and expected to win these games just because we had Brady and we were home. Now I'm guessing they have a different apprieciation for them with the recent playoff struggles over the last few years, which will hopefully get them off their arse and make some noise.

What say you season ticket holders?

Not sure, I mean, I know we love to get caught up in the 'here and now' but I would think that the AFC Championship Game against the Colts (03 season) would have been louder.

After all, that team came into the game without punting in their first two playoff games.

I want you guys to scream until you lose voices! Drink plenty of honey & tea to get those vocal cords ready. Let's rival Arrowhead on Sunday.

I think the '04 playoff game against the colts may have been even louder than the '03 game....pretty close though...the '04 regular season opener against the colts was quite loud, also

I agree with you as usual.

The '04 Colts team was so overrated that the fans reacted with such fury - it was beautiful. Similar to the Tebow game last week, actually.

The loudest I've ever heard the stadium was in 2008 when the Pats tied the game against the Jets on the last play of the game. I forget how that one ended.

If Kraft makes the booze 1/2 price it will be no problem.
Seriously they cannot do this but the idea IMO is a great one.

I was there for last weeks game, the whole first half nobody in the lower 100 bowls sat down. We tried our best to be loud on defense, since the offense was dominating we didn't make much noise besides the TD's, Hernandez's run and Gronks sideline play.
Hopefully it will be louder this Sunday, it was pretty damn cold last week.

Actually, The loudest that I feel it has ever been at Gillette stadium was the Game in 2005 when Tedy Bruschi returned to action after his stroke.

When they announced his name as a defensive starter, the entire stadium shook! I remember them training a camera on him and showing it on the jumbotrons. The camera (or possibly the jubotron) was quivering like crazy from the vibrations. This continued for most of the game.. expecially when Tedy made a play.
That's also one of my favorite memories at the Razor

As for this Sunday, it will be the first time I will be bringing my step-son to a playoff game (he just turned 8), and you can be sure his little high pitched voice wil be on full volume screaming for his Patriots!
He will of course, have to contend with it being muffled by 20 layers of insulation applied by his mother and I
