it prob was the one and done thing bothering me, now that ive seen this team perform in the playoffs i know what they are capable of, and what they can do, they will not shy away b/c of the stakes....

i feel less nervous for this game, and prob even less for the SB

I agree with the not as nervous group.

Not that I believe the Ravens are a light game, but we NEEDED to beat the Broncos and get rid of the last couple 'one and done' years. On top of it all we had to deal with the Tebow hype, it would've been a long offseason to have lost to them at home.

I fully expect us to beat the Ravens. I think their defense has trouble getting outside in the run game and won't be able to keep pace with our offense for 4 quarters.

One thing I've noticed the past 5 or 6 games, is we do a good job with our formations and motions-- changing our tendencies, escpecially with Gronkowski and Hernandez. The coaching staff fully understands everything is being charted, and they don't stubbornly 'only' stick with what works.

But, if we were to lose to the Ravens, it would be a legitimate loss. Whereas I didn't feel the same about the Broncos.

So I'm just going to enjoy the ride, but I'm in no hurry for it to end.

I am always nervous until we get out to at least a 10point lead. as long as there is 2 scores in it i am ok because it means the offense will get another chance if the ravens score.

Hopefully we can get a quick start on them which will negate the running game some what.

Same, one score games make me very nervous. I always think the other team will end up tying us.

I wasnt nervous before the giants game at home after the pitts loss thinking they cant lose at home and back to back. After that game,iam always nervous even more.

People going to the game also are very fortunate to be watching what may be two future HOF's playing their last game if the Ravens loose.

First the first (and only) time in my life, I was forced to root through my garbage can looking for an empty brown Burger King bag to breathe into...

This of course, took place during SB42, so you could probably understand.

In the playoff game last yr, my wife told me that she could actually hear my heart beating from across the room, and she was right.

Unfortunately, I tend to take the games a little harder than most
