Re: Television coverage for week 17, Bills at Pats
I would be stuck watching the Jags game with a blackout on FOX at 1pm due to the Falconsgame coming on at 4.
Thank GOD for Direct TV!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Could you imagine the final wek of the season and the only game you get is one of three truely meaningless games (unless you care about who gets the #1 pick).

If you want to watch the game with a bunch of Patriots fans in Tampa, go to Boston's on Anderson.
Does Planet Venus or whatever it's called televise the games?
"Honey, I'm forced to go to a gentleman's club to watch my Pats"
Yeah, that'll work

Throughout history, poverty is the normal condition of man. Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded — here and there, now and then — are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all right-thinking people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty.
This is known as "bad luck." RAH

Mons Venus? I don't know if they do or not. There are a lot of such clubs in Tampa though so I wouldn't be surprised it at least one of them does.
I would guess that it wouldn't be very ideal as there would be no hope of getting the sound of the game, the food tends to not be that great at such places, and the drinks are even more overpriced than at the sports bars.
Re: Television coverage for week 17, Bills at Pats
You were expecting them to widely broadcast a game nationally featuring the dynamic on air pre season duo of Cross and Criqui handling the call? Gonna boost Gil and Geno's week 17 broadcast and approval ratings to Chad Finn's chagrin.... I can only imagine how painful Criqui's call will be without his old mainstay Todd Light at LT and WR's and ST'ers manning the secondary...
Jets-Dolphins affects 1 team to get a possible 6th seed, and that team (the Jets) needs I think 3 or possibly FOUR other teams to lose for it to matter.
Pats-Bills. Let's see, Pats can get 1st or 2nd seed, Ravens and Steelers can get 1st, 2nd, or 5th seed depending on the Pats game and their own, Houston and the AFC West can see where they will have to go during the divisional round depending on who wins, etc...
Oh, and I'm a fracking Pats fan you tool. Why would I want to watch the effing JETS?
Is that too complicated for you or should I create a pie chart for you?
I like pie!

Re: Television coverage for week 17, Bills at Pats
Nine stations made changes for their early games on CBS, and every one of them made the same change - dropping the Jets-Dolphins game. Seven added the Pats-Bills game in its place and two went with the Texans-Titans game. The tv execs in those places must be wicked smart.
