Default Ochocinco's fiance sued for allegedly receiving money illegally from ex-Celtic

Hopefully this won't become a distraction for Ochocinco or the Pats

Report: Chad Ochocinco's Fiancée, Evelyn Lozada, Sued for Allegedly Receiving Money Illegally From Antoine Walker - NESN.com

Quote:
Evelyn Lozada, former star of the VH1 reality series Basketball Wives and current fiancée of Patriots wide receiver Chad Ochocinco is reportedly being sued for receiving more than $500,000 illegally.

According to TMZ, it seems Lozada received $560,000 from her ex-fiancée and former Celtics forward Antoine Walker while he already knew he was going bankrupt. Walker filed for bankruptcy last year, and the bankruptcy trustee is now reportedly suing Lozada because he believes that her and Walker's transaction was fraudulent, an attempt to hide money from legitimate creditors.

Meh, ochenta y cinco wouldn't look quite as good on the back of his jersey or be as catchy a moniker. Even so, he's definitely smarter than Antoine Walker and that dumb broad.

Gotta agree with Tunescribe here. Ocho Conco rolls off the tongue better, and is a great branding idea.

Sort of like Cinco de Mayo. That's not even an actual Mexican holiday. It's a holiday for one small town in Mexico. It was picked up as a way to sell more beer. Now, even the Mexicans laugh at it, but are happy to reap the cash flow from the stupid Anglos who don't know any better.

Meh. Has nothing to do with him really. Its between his current GF and her ex. Shouldn't effect him I don't think. Unless she's broke and he ends up having to bail her out.

Yah, when working in So Cal I was celebrating the holiday with an extended Max-Am family. Some had been to Boston and said it's their version of St Patrick's Day. They agreed that celebrating defeating the French was not anything special.

Throughout history, poverty is the normal condition of man. Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded — here and there, now and then — are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all right-thinking people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty.
This is known as "bad luck." RAH
