HUH? Doesn't really makes sense. Does Caldwell think he will still have a job after this year? I mean the cat is already out of the bag, the donkey has already gone down the trail, why???

Unless they are bringing in Eric Mangini, that would liven up Sunday's game.......

They might as well fire the janitor, at least he's actually responsible for cleaning up a mess.

Default Larry Coyer canned, Curtis Painter benched, and Dan Orlovsky gets the start

Looks that there will be some new faces for the Colts this weekend. They fired the defensive coordinator and they have given the starting QB job to Dan Orlovsky. Can't be worse than Painter.

Caldwell's next act: rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic.

LOL Probably the best remaining coach on the staff had his hands not been tied by Polian's recent roster building fiasco... But someone had to be sacrificed. The natives are getting restless. You think Andy Reid has problems... They not only want Caldwell's head - many are clamoring for both Polian's on a spike...

We may see Orlovsky this week in an effort to show the locals he's open to change and done telling them it's all correctable... He's now up to admitting he is actually fielding a team with players who have no business on an NFL field. So he fires a coordinator just to show everyone whose fault that was...

Orlovsky started a game in Detroit on that 0-16 team, so he has another chance to notch a start on his 2nd 0-16 team.

This is a multiple choice quiz.

What was the thought going through Caldwell's head when he learned that the DC would be fired:

A.) Finally. Now we can get down to the business of winning football games.
B.) Wow, that was a close one!
C.) When asked about this by the media remember its important to maintain continuity, so just stare off into the distance with a blank look on my face.
D.) I wonder what it would be like if chewing gum were made of tooth enamel and teeth were made of Chiclets?
E.)
F.) All of the above, just not in that order.

Coyer's probably grateful.
