Default Defensive Front Seven Better Than In 2010

The defensive front 7 played reasonably well in the last half of 2010, among the leaders in points allowed.
===================
The 2011 version looking forward is better than 2010.
IN: Carter, Anderson, Ellis
OUT: Banta-Cain, Moore, Cohen
====================
I would also note that Love is playing very well indeed.
=====================
As of a few days ago, we were the favorite to win the division and the conference. The defensive front seven is NOT the issue. The primary issue is turnovers, by the offense and special teams.

The front seven did pressure Manning 21 times on Sunday. They look to be turning the corner. Granted without Spikes for a bit, that might change. Hopefully Fletcher will be back soon.

Im not so in to Love to be honest. He gets zero push in pass rush and doesnt get enough run stoppage either. I was so into this 4-3 but now I just long for a return to 3-4 and start dreaming about a rush LB in the draft.

We all know that isnt happening. But Santa, cant we atleast get a 1st rounder ILB ?

???
I'm fine with Mayo and Spikes, and Fletcher, and with Guyton as our #4.
============================================

You must mean a pass-rushing OLB younger than Carter who is obviously just fine.

Wilfork was much better when he was poking opponents in the eyes.

I tend to put pass rushing DE's and OLB's in the same category.

We do need an additional pass-rushing OLB, although if we stay in the 4-3, that player may be Mayo.
