Re: Dan Morgan retires
Too bad; I don't like seeing good players, and good people, having to retire prematurely.
It's times like this that I stop for a second to appreciate the years that many of our Patriots have spent with us, and to hope for more of the same this year and beyond. When I watch a game, one of the things I look for, after a play is run, is everybody getting up on their own and returning to the huddle. Because in football, as opposed to basketball and baseball played by self-absorbed, greedy, clueless, pompous primmadonnas (no wonder sportsmediots sniff their jocks as they do - they're intellectual comrades), a player's season/career/life hangs in the balance on every snap of the ball; the next play could literally be his last.
Good luck in your next career, Dan Morgan. You played one helluva SB against us.
