Default ESPN: Pats stole offensive signals too

One tape of the eight (Miami) is labeled "OFF Signals". Just when you thought it was over...

The funny thing about ESPN having headlines like this on their main page is the fact that they will most certainly say something on Sportscenter like "Spygate just won't die" when in reality, they are the only people keeping the story going by adding controversy to every headline and every story.

Pats were exhonerfied from stealing offensive signals.

Wake me up when you have proof they videotaped special teams signals.

Them and the rest of the country's football fans whose blood is boiling and whose mouths are watering at the prospect of additional punishment.

(esp divisonal opponent, steelers, and chargers fans)

Honestly it'd be ludicrous for the media to not jump all over this, that's what the media does.

The Dolphins under Saban were caught taping Brady's audibles and the NFL never did anything... of course Belichick didn't go crying like a baby to the front office... but still, if they didn't investigate then I'm not sure why it should be an issue now.

Because that would be hypocritical of the Commissioner's office and he'd never do that

God I hope so........ We'd be complete douche-bags to just have taped defensive signals.

I'm curious.....how do you steal offensive signals when they are trasmitted by radio to qb directly? I understand that when qb's call audible, may be there are some signalling going on but.....can't that be usually found out just watching game tape? Besides, I thought it was pretty common knowledge other teams' audible signals are constantly 'stolen'. I remember hearing that bunch of phin's players admitting that they knew what Pats' audible calls were. Sorry if this was asked in other thread.

Miami bought an "enhanced audio" version of a game tape from a third party back in 2006.

Throughout 2007, mikes were aimed at Tom Brady so that you could clearly hear his cadence on pretty much every tape. It was like "miked up" but he didn't even have a mike. Just the networks having fun I guess.

God, 37-1 sounds SO much better than 18-1...
