I've got a feeling that with the D as poor as it is just now with the stats, Bill is thinking, you score 1 (i.e. TD's), we'll score 2.

Even on the one-handed TD grab by Jackson, there was pressure on Rivers.
I looked to me he had a clean pocket quite a bit of the time, i think it was the Down field coverage more than it was pressure. Especially after Dowling went out, but thats a whole nuther kettle of fish by golly.

I was really mad about all the calls against our DB's, Then on the other side they mugged Branch on the 4th down no call, in the 3rd qtr, there was a 3rd down pass to Welker that was overthrown (the play before Mesko was hurt) on the play Gronk was tackled ....... no call outrageous given the calls on Bodden away from the play. I thought the PI on Arrington was pretty bad to he was playing the ball and reaching back...
I am good with the win of course and loved Big Vince's Int.

I know it's common as a fan to complain about penalties against your team, but c'mon those were some bad calls. Two weeks in a row at that. Also, some bad replays by ESPN and CBS. Seems like there were late penalties being called against the Pats but it was just because of bad TV coverage.

This offseason, it's almost like Belichick is saying, "I'm never going to let that happen again."

On the positive note, we did get turnovers and that goal line stand was great. That's twice now in two weeks we stopped teams at the goal line.
McCourty got beat like a red headed step child again. Some were great plays by Jackson/Rivers, but a good amount of them he should have made. McCourty set expectations pretty high based on his rookie season. He has yet to come close to live up to them. The season's young, so let's hope he turns it around.
You clearly have some warped definition of what constitutes pressure on a QB. As I said, I lost track of the number of dump offs to the RB and the number of times that Rivers was flushed from the pocket..
You're evaluation of McCourty also leaves a lot to be desired.
