I don't care who he is or what kind of awards he received in the past. You get your butt in the gym and you lead by example. He is getting paid millions people. Its not too hard.

High ankle sprains can take months to heal completely.

Key to this is good blood circulation.

Giselle is just trying to help circulate his blood.

He was being sarcastic in response to your sarcasm. No one can be as stupid as that with a job in the media.

Wow, some 'fans' really turned on tommy pretty quick here.

So he missed a workout. Do you think he's not working out at the hotel he's staying at? He's doing exactly what the trainers tell him to do, which might include, taking it easy while recovering from injuries. Besides, the strain from last season must be incredible. Let the guy have some time off.

Yes, I get your name.

However it is Tom fricken' Brady. Maybe we should cut him, huh?

Seriously I have not fully recovered from the Super Bowl and I don't have a high ankle sprain.

If you are worried about his time with team mates, um, I think he might have the offensive complexity down.

Hey, Dude. Ease up a little - Let's see you do what he does, "Its not too hard"

AND He's probably the most underpaid Football player in the HISTORY of the NFL so ease up on the money comments as well.

He's one of, if not the, the greatest QB that ever strapped them on, he knows what he's doing.

Any more talk like that and I'll be forced to print out your avatar and fight it.

The vast majority of NFL players have been off since New Years resting up for the next campaign. The two teams who locked up in the desert have been off for half as long. In fact the other QB attended his batchelor party last week so I doubt he'll be reporting to coach Coughlin's off season program much before April.

The mental drain at the position, especially the way Brady and BB play the game, is almost more debilitating than the physical drain. Tommy has always gone above and beyond what most of his peers at the position do. He needs to start taking a little more time for himself when he can to avoid the mental burnout factor. These early season workouts are pretty limited - couple of hours a day a couple of days a week. The extra time he puts in all season long when he cuts back dramatically on anything resembling a personal life more than make up for missing a week or two of light conditioning workouts.

I think most here to should listen to brushi talk on recovery time after games and season from his last interviewo on weei a bit and associate that with tom too.He is 30 not the 22 yr anymore .
Also, his ankle even though is good no one knows how long it is going to take to heal.its not even 2 months from the injury.

How can anyone question Tom Brady's drive and work ethic at this point. How absurd.

On top of the mental drain MoLewisRocks mentioned above, Brady got dinged up quite a bit at the end of the season. I remember Pete Sheppard on EEI saying he'd heard through a reliable source that Brady got a rib injury early in the Super Bowl game. Add that to the ankle injury and you got one banged up guy. Let the guy heal.
