Default Javon Walker to visit Raiders

http://www.rotoworld.com/content/Home_NFL.aspx

Adam Schefter of NFL Network reports that Javon Walker is visiting the Raiders and could sign as soon as Wednesday.

Walker would replace Jerry Porter in Oakland, but signing with the Raiders won't do much to rekindle his fantasy value. Any team signing Walker will have to do a throrough check of his knee.

didnt he learn anything from Moss?

The knee status is the million dollar question... this guy sure is intriguing.

Rumor: Walker agrees to 6 year deal worth $55 million, guarantee $15. (see ESPN.com)

I know its off topic.....

but this is the 3rd stupidest thing the Raiders have done since free agency started. Tommy Kelly, Gibril Wilson and now Walker with over priced contracts worth big money over long periods of time.

In regards to the Patriots....

all you fans wanting money to be spent need to look at some of the moves being made and be happy they aren't making these moves. Bad teams had a lot of time to think about their future. Some need to keep their jobs and some have had their fans all over their ass for the last few months. If the Jets, Dolphins or Raiders don't spend money, than their fans have a right to be pissed.

When the Pats, Steelers and Colts don't spend money, their fans should cut them some slack. Bad teams spend big money on average players. Good teams find talent cheaper.

This is one of the dumbest signings in the history of the NFL.
