Given PFT had us at $9.4m on Tuesday, and we've only signed Light above vet minimum, I'm guessing that means Light's cap cost is $4.7m for this year? $4.2m difference plus the minimum guy you bumped off the bottom of the list.
Add in Solder and that takes us down to $4.2, so it depends on whether those figures include the $3m credit or not, as to the level of moves we can make.
We also need a chad and Albert restructuring sometime soon.
If the Pats sign Mankins, they could really go out and make a bold move on a OLB.
Who is this "bold move" that you think is still available???
Roth??
Umienyora??
I have news for you, with the Pats over 5 million under, they have plenty of room without getting Mankins to a long term deal. Though, getting him onto that would be great.

Chad's deal has already been re-structured. It was part of the deal that brought him to New England.
There won't be a Haynesworth restructuring until next off-season. And that is only if Haynesworth shows he's worth it and doesn't do anything stupid. Otherwise, you take away the only leverage you have on him. That you can cut him without any penalty.

I think you are wrong about Ocho. I think it was agreed to but not done yet. I think they needed to wait until the new league year. Could be wrong, but Miguel still has the old number.
They could still convert some of Haynesworths salary to a bonus at no real harm to push some hit to the future.

I believe you're correct on Ocho, but I don't think it was ever filed so that he gets practice time, because if they restructured right away he would have had to wait until today to begin practicing. Same for Haynesworth.
