Bill Belichick's son joins Rutgers football as long snapper | NJ.com

Here is good wishes to the young man as a walk on and hopes he gets to play for the Scarlet Knights

....Maybe McCourty will be rooting for him to make the team as well

Same here. Best of luck to him. We've got at least 2 Rutgers alum under contract right now.

Smart kid. Good long snappers get a very decent payday with very little time on the field.

2014 draft, Pats draft Stephen Belichick' 6th round - Longsnapper
BB cuts his own kid after he held out for more guaranteed money.
BB resigns his own kid to the PS to eventually promote him to LS.
BB cuts his son after a bad snap.

BB Jr. signs with the NYJ, Browns, Dolphins, etc.
Retires and becomes NE head coach

Seeing as Belichicksson [sic] makes Jake Ingram look like a giant (let alone Matt Katula), I'm guessing the NFL isn't in his future.

But as the article notes, coaching might be.
