YouTube - ‪No. 85 TE Aaron Hernandez 2010 season‬‏
Season video (includes dropped passes). Think he had 2-3 in the Ravens game and 1-2 in the GB game.

YouTube - ‪No. 85 TE Aaron Hernandez and No. 87 Rob Gronkowski vs the Jets week 2 2010.‬‏

Yeah, we should release the bum. I'm sure he would go unclaimed.

don't even joke...

that # surprised me. Eyeball test I thought he was excellent as a rookie. Gronk was better, but they r 2 different TE's

Start Lee "The Franchise" Smith in his place.

Last October:
Hernandez drops

Long and generally entertaining thread, general consensus was: he's an extremely young rookie, cut him some slack.

The difference is that Brady calmly calls audibles while Manning flaps like a chicken, barks 11 code words, and makes sure every camera in the stadium has documented his once-in-a-generation (and patented, I believe) ability to see a defensive formation and change the play. Both have the same effect, but Manning transcends measurable human intellect while Brady merely chooses a different play.

How have they only got it out of 38 TEs?

That averages to 1.19 TEs per team! And with me knowing the Pats have 3, that lowers it to 1.06 per team!

Regardless of what PFF or Stats Inc. says, Hernandez definitely dropped some passes he shouldn't have. It was definitely an issue, one that needs to be corrected. Hernandez was targeted 64 times so depending on count, it's at least 10% of passes being dropped.
He had that one game against Baltimore where he dropped the potential game-winner late and then dropped another short one right after that. He dropped a tough would-be TD in the opener against Cincy. Other than that, he was pretty excellent all year. I doubt TB is going to avoid him because of a few rookie-jitters moments.

Who cares what PFF think?

The reason he played less snaps than Gronk was that he was partially injured, plus he's a pretty poor blocker.

Creator of the Pats must draft Jason Verrett in 2014 no matter the cost fanclub.

like I was saying before... they deem the balls as "catchable". I bet a few of those were very tough balls to get and were dropped. They count "tough" balls even though they hide behind the catchable label.

An error in baseball happens w/ a routine play being botched. Aaron running his speedy routes across the field encountered very tough passes, but apparently if balls are a bit high or short or to early that accounts for a dropped pass they deem as catchable. I thought my man had a GREAT year. Why do they begrudge him for dropping 7 balls (high undoubtedly, but they claim them as catchable balls by their scrutiny. Was AH perfect? No. he did drop some balls ***** happens he is a rookie.

I love this kid. He is a rookie so did this group come together to screw the rookie? Hernandez has topnotch abilities and I loved watching him every week when he was a Gator. I don't have an NCAA team and I aligned myself w/ Meyer because he coached a great group Tebow, Hernandez, Spikes. This is all superfluous stuff, but I LOVED watching that team play.

on another note I should have posted that GRONK made an additional 2 MILLION in Bonuses last year

Just opinion but Gronk seemed like the go to Tight End in the red zone from my observations. It was kinda like watching Rivers look for Gates seeing Brady to Gronkowski.
