Default I feel bad for Randy Moss

Maybe it's only because I'm maybe (definitely) hammered, but thinking about Randy Moss makes me feel sad. He put in a startling effort, set records, infuriated fans, caught what should have been a game-winning SB TD, worked hard for a green QB (MC), took plays off now and then, let his inner douche get the better of him, busted his butt, and it was all for naught.

The guy seemed to REALLY want to win, and he never won it all. He cared about the Pats and TFB and BB. I loved him, personally-speaking. Thinking about how the man *****ed his way out of town makes me want to cry. I wish there was a way he could win it all. Hell, I wish he could come back as a 4th string CB and get a ring in 2011 or 2012.

I just feel bad for the guy. He worked hard, did the amazing, and was hated for it due to perception and his own weaknesses.

I think he is the most underappreciated Patriot ever.

He deserved to be in the Pats HOF, and instead he's a joke.

I hope he is happy.

Flame on, flamers.

Blame Asante Samuel and Mike Carey.

I hope he's happy too. A modern day tragic figure, immensely talented, loved playing here, wanted to win but his fatal flaw, feeling 'disrespect' where none was offered led him on a course to career ruin, cast from 'heaven'.

sometimes I feel the same way - the Randy of 2007/8 was great in all aspects, 2010 not so much. But, as I always say 'You reap what you sow'.

I do, almost daily.

As much as I feel for Randy, I root against Asante. I too am a flawed being.

Randy, come on home.

Yeah bro, you are 100% right. Too bad Randy didn't get that.

Hey PJ,
A few aspirin and water before bed Cousin. That Manischewitz will K.O. you. Seriously I think you have a point. I hope you meant come back as the #4 WR, not CB. I loved the SB years, but the most fun I had watching the Pats was 2007. Moss made that year for them. He got underneath the skin of some mediots here like that moron Felger (at least I know I am qualified to get a job as a sports writer or radio personality if that nut-case can get a job). He has the mustard out as we speak eating his words on not needing Moss on this Team last year. The correct move was Branch and keeping Moss.

I can't see why he should not make the Pats Hall of Fame, besides Canton. I do not understand the hate for him in this town whatsoever. He spoke with his heart on his sleeve sometime and he was an easy target for the media. They laughed at him, but this guy was a Team leader and respected by his peers.

He was in Viking land a week and he knew Col. Klink had to go. If his worst sin there was making fun of a after practice meal, let the first guy on this site that never had his foot in his mouth eat the foul potato salad.

L'Chayim Cousin PJ (take another aspirin)

Drink some water and take two Advil liqui-gels before bed.

Moss is like Ricky-Bobby's father from Talledega Nights. When things start to get right - he blows it up.

In a way, yes. But basically he blew it up when he sensed it would not be bliss. That is his weakness, I guess. The guys seems to mean well but just can't help but **** things up. I've been there.

Thanks for the reminder about the Advil.

You too, DW. Good to see you, bro.

I already gave te wife some Advils. Time to take some myself, I s'pose.

And yes, I meant that I'd like to see Randy come back as a WR. He'd still be the best WR on the team. It's not his fault that TFB only had eyes for him.

****, this offeason is too long.

Like I said, most underappreciated Patriot ever. He won't even be remembered as a Patriot. But he was. Ask Brady.
