Default The past and the future; and to the chat room-ers.

Looking back on the season, I can't help but feel it was one of the funnest seasons I've experienced in my short time as a Pats fan.
The Moss trade, Woodhead, all the Jets jokes and scandals, Rex's fetishes, Brady's records, the amazing wins, the amazing offense, the huge rookie contributions. It ended badly, but it was fun.

And being in the chat room every sunday with a bunch of you guys was great. It was always funny in there, from Pyper's crazy chants starting at the Raven's comeback to the suspensions, *whip*'s, and spam during interceptions. Gonna miss all of that during the off season. Thanks for the good times.

What makes me feel better about the season's end is the potential for next year.
Our rookies are going to grow up. The jump from season one to season two provides for the greatest improvement, and it's not like our rookies aren't already good.
On top of that, we get a Bodden return... a Warren return... a Faulk return.
We're stacked in the draft.
If our offensive line can hold up, if we can get any sort of GOOD contribution on the d-line whether it's from the draft or the FA, how can anyone not feel good about next year?

This better not end in a group hug...

But yeah, it was a fun season. Awful ending. But I enjoyed hanging out with everyone, made the good times better and the bad times not as bad.

Except last week. That was just awful and nothing could sugar-coat that.

We should do a few chat sessions in the off-season. Definitely for the draft. Maybe even for the SB, though that might be too painful still.

I'm good for joining the chat room for this year's SB. Especially now that the Rats are done.

This genius move was followed by trading out of a spot where they could have gotten the last decent receiver in Robert Ferguson and settled for tackle Matt Light, who will not help any time soon.”
