Default The time has come... (playoff schedule) [merged]

...to begin to try to figure out when we will play and to plan your playoff watching schedules accordingly.

I would think we will get the Sat night game on 1/12/08, so, this Saturday will be a slight bit of preparation for playing at that time slot.
  • Saturday, January 5
    • 4:30 PM and 8 PM (Both games on NBC.)
Announce teams: Tom Hammond (play by play), Cris Collinsworth (color), TBA (sideline reporter) for first game; Al Michaels (play-by-play), John Madden (color) and Andrea Kremer (sideline reporter) for the second game.FOX announcers: Joe Buck (play-by-play), Troy Aikman (color), Pam Oliver and Chris Myers (field reporters). CBS announcers: Jim Nantz (play-by-play), Phil Simms (color).
Divisional Playoffs

In addition to the above mentioned announcers, FOX will have Kenny Albert (play-by-play), Darryl Johnston (color) and Tony Siragusa (field anaylist) for one playoff game, while CBS will have Greg Gumbel (play-by-play) and Dan Dierdorf (color) for one playoff game.Byes to Divisional Playoffs: New England, Dallas, Indianapolis, Green Bay.
  • Saturday, January 12
    • NFC Divisional Game, FOX, 4:30 PM.[4]
    • AFC Divisional Game, CBS, 8 PM[4]
  • Sunday, January 13
    • AFC Divisional Game, CBS, 1 PM[4]
    • NFC Divisional Game, FOX, 4:30 PM[4]

Super Bowl XLII

This isn't completely certain... the NFL press release which is linked from Wikipedia actually says "CBS or FOX" for both 1 PM and 4:30 PM games. It will probably be as you say, but they haven't announced it.

This is a case where Wikipedia is nicely footnoted with references but if you check the reference you find Wikipedia is actually wrong.

Saturday evening game for me would be a 'dysaster' (start 2 a.m. Sunday night here) but of course i will be in front of the tv anyway

but Id say it wil be 03 over again
