That's such a joke. No where in the rules does it say it's legal to film there and it DOES say that they need an enclosed space. This league is a joke, which is why we need to finish making them look like a bunch of chumps.

You know who is a joke, and let it be the witchhunt it became? Goodell. The guy is in way over his head, this guy is an idiot.

Let it go People. It is what it is. BB said it's in the past, let's listen to our coach and leave it in the past.

We are 13 and 0 people. Let's enjoy the season. Some of us have waited a long time for a season like this from our team.

As for the Jets, KARMA IS A BIATCH. Look at how their season worked out for them.

Personally I could care less if the Jets get punished or not. My concern is a NFL commisioners office that has it's head jammed so far up it's ass, it can't get anything correct.

Oh sure, BB said it's in the past, and goodness knows he ALWAYS lets the media know what he is really thinking
For BB, with regards to Mangina and the Jets, I'm thinking this will NEVER be over.

Uh huh.

I can live without the drama too. But I took a shlitzload of heat here, when I read the rule in black and white and came to the conclusion that

1) we broke it
2) we sure didn't do it to get a disadvantage
3) Therefore, whatever effect it had, yes, we "cheated."

Well, I just read the rule in black and white, and it says enclosed on all 4 sides with a roof, and there doesn't seem to be a lot of discussion about other teams' "permission." How do we know the Pats didn't have the Jets' "permission" earlier this year?

How do the Jets have "permission," when the other team is kicking their cameraman out of the stadium?

I'm hardheaded enough to say, "there's the rule in black and white" when it comes to the Pats, and just assumed that's what the league was doing.

I think this week makes clear that there are rules for other people, and then, appropriately enough, there's what we call a PATRIOTS RULE.

Cuz you know, like, we do.

Exactly. So basically the Pats were fined 750k and a pick for videotaping on the sideline. Ok, that's illegal, so fine. However, the Jets clearly were in violation of the same rule as far as the game ops manual is concerned, and that's perfectly fine? How? Yes it's great as some have said that we're 13-0 and having a season for the ages but that has nothing to do with the principle here that they are just making **** up as they go along and breaking their own rules. The Pats were given a stiffer penalty than the Broncos for cheating the salary cap which DIRECTLY LED to their 2 titles, it's crazy.

My sentiments exactly. The Jets don't need to be punished, the Patriots need to be made whole. What a farce.

Doesn't add up,if it's legal then what right do the Pats have to kick the guy doing the filming off the field?

You think the NFL wants to go through this again? Of course they are brushing it aside. Behind closed doors Goodell knows he f'd up. He's making a huge mistake though in thinking that the we fans are STUPID. If we are fortunate enough to win the Super Bowl, all Pats fans should boo his arse off the podium while he tries to hand us the trophy. Lord that man is lucky that I don't have his number. What a tool.
