I think Morris will come back (very cheap) to play FB. Faulk should be back as well. He's too good of a weapon even at his age not to bring back. That would give us BJGE, Woodhead, Morris, Faulk going into FA. Draft a high round RB (perhaps with Carolina's 33rd pick?) and that would round out the 5 RBs that BB likes to carry.

Yep. And no where in my post did I say Woodhead would be a FA. You must've misread.

BJGE is a RFA so he should be back for one more year at least if he doesn't sign a deal similar to Woodhead before years end. So this years tandem should at least be back and they can add to it.

I think someone like Pierre Thomas if he is reasonably priced would be a good FA signing. They obviously showed some interest in him near the trade deadline and he's in a RB by Commitee situation now.

I think Daniel Thomas RB, Kansas State would be a good pickup late in Rnd 2. He's a bigger back (6-2/228) and avg's 5+yds per carry and has only played for 2 years so has some tread left on the tires.

I honestly don't see Ingram amounting to much in the NFL, I think he'll be average at best. Therefore, I hope they don't spend anything higher than a third on a RB. I don't think the position is worth anything higher, and this team has some huge needs on both lines.

This offseason, it's almost like Belichick is saying, "I'm never going to let that happen again."

I see us signing faulk for another year as woodhead at his size and even faulk need a backup.

BJE will be one starter but man he is not fast enough to bounce outside ,so we do not need a high pick. If we pick a 3rd rd RB who has speed and decent size to share carriers 4 RB combo will bebest.

I still want a workhorse RB in the mold of Curtis Martin and Corey Dillon, but I don't have an answer to that. Though I can't complain with what BenJarvus Green-Ellis has done this season.

BJGE has looked like a slower version of Steven Jackson to me. That is still a good thing.

I believe we have Eric Kettani and Shun White on the Military list who should be eligible to join the Pats next year.

Anyone confirm this?
