Default Good article on Zoltan Mesko

Boston Globe - Tale of punter Mesko unlike any in NFL

Apologies if anyone's posted this already, but I couldn't find any posts about this so far.

This is a good article about Zoltan Mesko, who appears to be the best punter the Pats have had in quite a while. Reading this makes it pretty clear why Bellichick used a draft pick on him.

Nice story, thanks for posting. He's been a huge upgrade for us. I can't believe some people think he's a waste of a draft pick.

He was worth the draft pick, just for the name. The punting skills are an added bonus!

Where else could you get a guy whose name is an anagram for "zealot monks"?

I'd like to see one of those fans tell him that to his face.

Methinks the Space Emperor is smart enough to think of something. After all, he's not the one who had to keep his car from rolling off. . . .

LOL at the Dos Equis take-off:

“I don’t normally punt, but when I do, I prefer Zoltan Mesko.’’

That could be a great get-up for a game at the Razor.

This genius move was followed by trading out of a spot where they could have gotten the last decent receiver in Robert Ferguson and settled for tackle Matt Light, who will not help any time soon.”

That's true I wonder how many Mesko jerseys have sold.

Yeah, he's not your stereotypical wimpy punter.
