Not sure, but don't the Pats have the option to retain these two at a somewhat high price if they wanted to?

Stallworth has a number of years left, but he'd structured in such a way as to make him cuttable after 1 years. Moss would be a FA.

If we don't re-sign Samuel, than I think re-signing Gay is a must. He is a really good nickel back and can hold it down pretty solid as a starter too. I would hate to enter the season next year with a new starting corner and nickel back.

BTW, if the Jets signed Samuel, they would have a great CB tandem with Samuel and Revis. This Revis kid can play. He has looked really good and played TO as good as anyone on thanksgiving. They would have one of the league's top secondaries with Samuel, Revis, and Rhodes.

That's great and they'll have plenty of opportunities to make lots of tackles considering how the front 7 play in front of them......

They also have David Harris who is a really good looking rookie LB. Hey, I'm not a Jets fans my friend. However, I'm just looking at their situation objectively. If they added Samuel and drafted DT Glen Dorsey from LSU in the draft, than I think they will have a legitemate defense next year.

Ditto for Kelley Washington. At this point, barring a renegotiation, it's all but certain that at least one of Stallworth/Washington is leaving.
