Default ESPN: "Brady Sounds off"

They had this segment on sportscenter and when they ran it they played brady on WEEI saying "We want to dominate teams, we want to kill them, we dont want to win 28-22. We want to build momentum. We dont want to be up 42-7 and the look up and see its 42-28."

They conviniently ignored what he said about the running up the score accusations . ESPN is just getting worse at manipulating the complete facts even with the randall gay quote. No wonder BB and pats provide so less media interviews.

Just saw it, completely unfair and taken out of context!

They lead into the story "Tom Brady wants to 'kill' teams"!

i dont see whats wrong with what he said, most every player in the nfl goes into every game with the mentality to kill teams or dominate them , so whats the big deal, just the media making something over nothing , who really cares what anybody thinks the most important thing is the patriots are pleasing the fan base, and that all that matters, what the media says means nothing in the whole scheme of things, thats why i dont get the need to post every little thing the media says, maybewe should start posting what joe the corner butcher says to , he probably has as much insight as the media dummies

Default Players ... getting loose lips ...

First Gay and now Brady ...

Even Brady who should know by now how the media takes things
out of context to make a story is getting loose.
Maybe it is intensional??

I hope BB has an extra few minutes to remind these guys how these
sports media jackals work.
Even if you trust a certain newscaster... others will distort whats
been reported ... and the gossip will spread like wild fire.

ESPN will find it even harder to gain access to this team, IMO.

Who cares? You think it's going to be "bulletin board material"? Teams already know the Patriots are on a mission of retribution. Teams are already intimidated. Teams are already going into the game with the goal of keeping it close, rather than trying to win (just listen to the bills postgame comments). Comments like Brady's don't motivate the other team, they just reinforce what they already know - i.e., "we're in trouble."

I agree. At this point, isn't what Brady said kind of obvious? And now that he's said it, all of the sudden other teams will be motivated? Give me a break.
