The Colts really don't have any room on their roster due to the injury situation. They would have to IR somebody. They had to cut Klecko just to add a PS o-lineman. I guess they could cut Joe again.

Very true. Now the coaches won't be tempted to put him on the field.

I would trade jackson for a 1st, but I think the trade date is over.

They COULD pick up bam childress or that other WR we have on the practice roster.

I'm sure there are a lot of decent WRs on practice rosters.

What I would give to see the Colts pick up Bam and after a few weeks with the team, have Bam be quoted as saying:

"Peyton Manning is pretty good, but he's no Tom Brady."

This is Moorehead joining the IR list. Looks pretty painful.

I knew the Colts were desperate for help, but why would Joe come out of retirement to help them after they just cut his son??? Not to mention that I am pretty sure that Joe HATES the Colts from the time they were in the same division...

I don't think it matters with how poorly Manning has played. He's lost his binkie and it shows.

Oops, letting my age show a bit. I think Joe likes the Colts since both he and his son have played for them.

I feel a little let down...is that the best you could up with? That's not up to your usual standard.

Just to be clear, you can only "claim" a player off waivers. The Colts cannot sign Childress without his consent, so it's quite possible Childress doesn't want to be a Colt.

Yes. There's an action shot in this thread of it happening. Manning led him to his slaughter.
