You call yourself a football fan? well your certainly not a very smart one. Ben is every bit a pressure qb. He lead his team from a 15 point defecit to victory this sunday and he makes the plays when his team needs them. Peyton is probably the most refined "passer" in the NFL, but he is nowhere near as cluth as big ben. You obviously did not watch the run the steelers made to superbowl XL, lol he made the game saving tackle for God sake, I dont see Manning making plays like that for his team to win. Ben put the Steelers on his back on the way to the superbowl, and he has put them on his back when he has needed to this season.
He may have put them on his back to get to the Superbowl but his 23 QB rating will probably be the worst ever. Not very impressive. If not for a couple of pathetic calls that went your teams way he woould of basically lost the game for you guys.
However he is having a great season thus far. Worthy of pro bowl recognition.

I have to say Ben is a little bit clutch, but I would say Manning is more clutch than he is, and Brady doesn't even have a clutch anymore he traded in the stick shift and now he's just straight automatic.

Everybody seems to overlook the fact that this is Ben's 4th season in the the league and he is improving his game every week now. Tell me that Ben isn't as clutch now as Manning was in HIS 4th season.
I'm not sufficiently retarded to argue that Ben is in Brady's league, but I saw on another board the statistical breakdown for both QBs through their first 4 years. Ben and Brady have IDENTICAL winning percentages (36-13), and roughly the same #TDs and INTs. Brady certainly has much more passing attempts. Ben's YPA is higher. SB rings are a wash, +/-2 Seriously though, you guys dump on Ben a lot more than is warranted, he is on a HoF career path if he keeps this up.
Are you that much of a homer? Peyton has had better recievers pretty much throughout this whole season until Harrison went down and then Ben with a decent, but not near the high profile recieving core, is on pace to throw for 35-40 td's and probably over 3500 yards. Ben is an young qb who is starting to make his name as the next great qb, his physical talent tops all other starting qb's in the league imo and I think I have a pretty solid case, he can make huge plays with his arm or legs and he is what the Titans wished VY was.
No homerism, I'm a Pats fan. For me voting in the PB means picking a team that has the best chance of winning. BR is a good QB whose skills are enhanced by an ability to muscle his way out of a tackle and pass on the run. Neither of these skills are are showcased in the PB. A PB QB should be a pure passer, a good judge of routes and an experienced veteran. That's Manning and not Roth.
What week are the Pro Bowl selections announced? I don't anticipate many Pats being on the roster.
Brady, Moss are locks. Who after that?
I hope the Pats use it for bulletin board material. Something like "you are one of the best teams in NFL history with a chance to go undefeated and they don't respect you enough to elect more than a handful of you to the Pro Bowl."
The icing on the cake would br if the players elected from the Pats decide not to go out of respect for their teammates.

So there is no room for guys that can be dual threat QB's? I am pretty sure that Ben has way better passing numbers AND rushing numbers than Manning, dont get me wrong though, I have always respected Manning and the way he plays the game but you know what? All of the points you have made about manning, they are true for Big Ben as well. Ben can make all of the throws and be a passer, he makes good decisions evidence of the second best td to int ratio in the league. Btw these arent just dink and dunk passes either, he is putting up the second best(brady's the first) yards per completion, averaging over 8 yards per pass, so yeah, he can throw the rock. The thing that makes Ben special though is the fact that he is doing this behind a line that is definitley not a very good pass pro line. You think that being a "Pure" passer is the only quality of a pro bowl qb? I have to argue with that as well, in my eyes it is definitley not a negative thing to have a qb that can get away from a linebacker or D-linemen that has a free shot at him, seriously what do you think manning OR Brady(no offense to pats fans, he is a great qb)would do in some of the situations Ben has been put in, I am talking about a linebacker getting free and apparently wrapping him up, only to be shaken off and have Ben complete a long one down field? I would have to say that either of them would probably be eating turf, or be forced to throw it away.
The thing is though, Brady doesn't get himself into those situations he glides around the pocket and lets the protection adapt to that, he makes it easier for the O-line to protect him by stepping up, sidestepping rushers etc.
P.S. Ben deserves the pro bowl more than Manning, and yes Ben has had a better first 4 years than Manning did.

If Brady had Ben's oline he would have no choice but to run for his life lol

He's also as dumb as a box of hammers. Don't put him in Canton yet.
