That's the way I see it.
Yep, plenty of reasons to root for Miami. Here's another one: maybe if they put together a few late wins they'll keep their current coaching and personnel staff.

I will root against the Dolphins because I can wait another week to clinch the division. The AFC East isn't a contest at this point. But yeah, if Miami does win, the consolation prize isn't so bad: a better chance at possibly moving ahead of Miami at the top of the draft order, and closer to a division clinch. Plus you want to create that sense of doubt...if Buffalo can't beat the worst team in the NFL, they've got no shot against the best team.

GO MIAMI and win your first game!
Naah. NO way. I could never root for the Dolphins to win. Whoever wins, I don't care either way as neither of them are a threat to the Patriots. Even if the Bills win this they won't be sniffing the division title.

If I was going to root for Miami to start winning, it would be because I want them to pass the 49ers. Even that doesn't outweigh the spiteful joy that I get out of seeing the Dolphins and their fans suffer, though, so I'm rooting for 0-16.

And here's another reason to root for a Bills' loss:

A loss would demoralize a Bills team who would otherwise be sky-high for a prime-time, nationally televised game, at home, against a team who spanked them, but not without some first-half struggles, earlier in the season.

Yeah I won't root for Miami. If Shula's comments this week weren't enough...

I'm with Jim Rome on this one. I think Miami "running the table in reverse" would actually be better than their undefeated season and pretty much un-do it. And I'd love to see them do that in the same season the Patriots go 0-19.

LET'S GO BUFFALO! (I can't believe I've just cheered that.)

I forgot about Old Man Shula. Isn't he still part of the organazation as a figue head consultant or something. Another reason to root for the Bills.

If the Pats go 16-0 and the Fins go 0-16, I think that team from 72 will be drinking razor blades, LOL.

I will be rooting for the Dolphins to all have career-ending injuries while leaving the locker room. And for the cops to find child porn and 50 lbs. of cocaine in their lockers.
