For the third time in the last four games, the Redskins' defense will face the NFL's top-ranked passing offense in the New England Patriots.
The Redskins held the Detroit Lions passing game to just 106 yards in Week 5 and the Green Bay Packers passing attack to just 188 yards.

Tom Brady and the Patriots are averaging 299.4 passing yards per game in their 7-0 start.


Sean Taylor has five interceptions, including a combined three picks the last two games off of former Super Bowl MVPs Brett Favre and Kurt Warner.
Taylor's five interceptions lead the NFL.

For the season, the Redskins have eight interceptions total. That's two more than the defense recorded all of last year.


The Redskins' defense, ranked fifth overall in the NFL and first in the NFC, has been solid on third downs this season.
The unit is ranked second overall in the NFL, having allowed just 27-of-84 (32.1 percent) third downs to be converted.

The Patriots ranked first at a 30.7 percent clip.

The Redskins' defense has given up just 97 total first downs this season, fourth in the NFL and first in the NFC.


The Redskins are ranked first in the NFC and second in the NFL (behind New England) in average drive starting position following a kickoff return.
The Redskins' average starting position is the 32.7-yard line, while New England is 33.0.

It should be one heck of a game this one worries me the most so far.
On the bright side if we win bb will have defeated the redskins finally.

It doesn't say what's the best team, which has the most talented players, which teams has the biggest payroll, smallest payroll. It stands for the team that played the best in that season. Put the number on there for that year. And the next year we start all over again everybody is at the same point."

Fear Shawn Taylor?
Taking out the teams best player is what BB does best.
Only reason to fear Taylor is if for some reason they have the same vehicle and Taylor assumes Brady stole it.

Ahh.. yes.

Same for the Redskins. I would just be fearing Sean Taylor more.

Give credit where it's due man. He leads the league in interceptions.

Considering the Skins stuffed the Packers and Lions passing game it will be interesting to see how the Patriots do against their defense. I see the Patriots doing the same thing they have done all season so far. That is going up and down the field at will.

We'll see this sunday.
