Default And now I will admit: I WAS WRONG abot Moss

I was never a Randy Moss fan. I never thought that he would be on the Patriots. I never thought he was a "Patriots type player". I thought that he was selfish , lazy, and had a bad attitude.

So when we traded for him I was surprised. But then we got him for a third rounder and he took a pay cut so I figured we could dump him if what I thought was true.

Then in his first statement he said something like "Patriots will see things they have never seen before".And I said "yea, sure".

Well after the entire pre-season and now 7 games, I will say I WAS WRONG. This guy is a freak( in a good way)! He has shown me things I never have seen any other Patriots WR do. He seems to be a team player and have a great attitude and work ethic.

I hope I never have to come back and say I was right. This guy has won me over.

One correction, we got him for a fourth rounder. Quickly becoming one of the best trades in not just NFL history, but sports history in general. An absolute steal.

I have to say, I was excited about this trade and hoped we'd see exactly what we're seeing. My concern was *cringe*-- I didn't know if I believed Tom could consistantly throw the deep ball. Now, I know that's awful. But we'd never seen him really have a constant deep threat option before. These guys, though, could score every down if they wanted to. I also didn't think Hoodie would call a game where it was oK just to lay a ball up into coverage like we did today. I didn't give Tommy or Hoodie enough credit.

Apologies to both.

As for Moss-- how exciting is this to watch!? I'm having a really rough month, and everytime I think I'm not going to be able to get myself out of the dumps, the Patriots bail me out.

I have love for Moss. And the Pats.

i'm not sure. i wish we could have kept pick 110 and delected John Bowie instead of oakland taking him.

After Moss scored his first TD, he handed the ball to the ref.

After his second TD, he walked to the endzone and underhanded the ball to a Dolphins child in the stands.

I admit I was wrong about him too. I am glad I was wrong. I initially thought the Pats shouldn't trade for him and was I so wrong.

I hope you guys learned your lesson about listening to the media. Don't ever believe what they say, always do the research yourself.

if you were a randy moss fan before, you shouldnt be surprised..everybody is brainwashed by the media, what they say, you all believe. Randy has had his problems off the field and on the field..mostly off, but if you watch his documentary, he is a excellent genuine stand up country guy, hes been handling balls to children since his days at marshall, and to disabled people in wheelchairs, army vets, etc... the mooning incident? who cares it was funny, randy said he seen over 1000 packers butts, and the squirting the water ball was wrong, but he admitted guilt and said he was sorry and let his emotons get the best of him..he was never selfish, NO teammates, coaches never said anything bad about randy moss, EVER. His situation in Oakland, well, lets just say any superstar WR of his caliber would be in the same position. and I dont know why people say he didnt do crap in Oakland, his first year he did, his 2nd year he didnt..

Nope! I've waited until I was sure. I don't jump on and off bandwagons every week.
I had posted many times my reservations about Moss. But now, I have enough evidence to admit I was wrong. Now, I hope he doesn't prove me wrong about being wrong.
