FWIW, we're 2nd in the league in Time of Possession.

Yes! The Times sports section was amazing on Monday morning -- huge color photo and article on the Pats game took up the front page, while the Jets game only merited a small piece on page 5. I had to double check that it wasn't the Globe!

The Globe???? The Times is WAAAAAAYYYYYY different than the Globe.

The New York Times actually gives space to the Patriots.

That statistic is confirmed by the NFL website:

I'm still waiting for someone to tell me how Rich Cimini keeps his job?

Going into Sunday, the Pats had the third ranked rushing offense with arguably their best RB out the previous two games. I don't know where the one-dimension comes from.

Lest we forget, as was posted on another thread, Wade Phillips' game plan was to stop Sammy Morris, which the 'boys did (10 rushes, 14 yards). Faulk, however, did better (13 rushes, 50 yards).

And apparently that Brady guy did alright passing, too.

In regards to the whole time of possession thing, apparently Cimini didn't watch the game.

"If they get into a shootout with Peyton Manning & Co., especially in the sterile confines of the RCA Dome, the Patriots will lose."

Because, um, why?

Regardless, he's already up for Pigskin Detention on Cold, Hard Football Facts.

Interesting. Our last game of the season is in New York. If everything fell into place, wouldn't it be something to get that undefeated season in NYC, and in Mangini's stadium (albeit not against NYJ)?

The media for that would be fun.
