This story puts football in perspective. I broke out in a cold sweat reading the link that was just posted. A 6 year old son. What a horrible sad story to read. Please pray for that family.

How sad. Watched the whole incident from the sidelines across from that section as I had pre-game sideline passes. I knew it probably wasn't going to be a good ending when they kept doing CPR for like 10 or 15 minutes before putting him in the ambulance. He looked older than 40 and was a very large man. Very sad for the family and especially the kids. I hope the son isn't overly traumatized for the balance of his life. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

Awfull. Condolences to the family. Between this and what we imagined might have happened when we saw the Brady accident...jaws of life news flashes, don't take one single day for granted. Kiss the spouse and the kids. Call Mom and Dad. Do it.

Wow. This really upsets me. Rare for me to feel such sincere emotion for someone that I dont actually know, but I have a little boy, and I cant comprehend how devastating something like this would be for him.

My heart goes out to his family.

It is indeed terrible. I'm a single parent with a 12 year old daughter. I have thought about what would happen to her if I passed on suddenly. I've got plans in place in case something like that happened, but still.....
