No, that's why I was suspended for a short period of time. I served that suspension (and even admitted it was deserved).
Since that suspension my behavior was much more in line with the official rules... I even mostly ignored remarks about me "teabagging" Ann Coulter (of course, the moderator ignored those remarks too which is part of the problem, but I digress)... And yet, for some reason, my purely political posts were constantly disappearing...
Thank you so much for bring Politics onto this board. If you have a problem with the Mods on that board, please PM Ian and leave this board for Patriots Football.

I lurk over there, and have seen your and Sam Adams posts. They are a real weird crew over there.
They just don't want to hear anything that doesn't agree with their view of the world. The Pats have been the hated enemy since we "robbed" them last year.
I mean, they had 11 probowlers last year...they were promised the Lombardi.

Same could be said for some members of Patsfan.com.
People for the most part go to there fan website to cheer for there team and not here counterpoints.
Trolls are great when it comes to keeping the hits up on a website.
I was also banned last Friday until 9/28. I posted as Sam Adams, and I always tried to keep my posts civil and respectful.
They accused me of trolling and causing trouble. I didn't try to cover up for Belichick, but their posts got to the point of being demeaning and downright nasty, and a Patriot fan can take only so much crap. We answered all their crap in Foxboro last Sunday night.
I will go back in 9/28, and I've got six donuts that say I won't last an hour.
They did the same thing last year. I never joined but they insisted that people who were on their site showed up after the game and didn't disappear if the Pats lost and when the Pats won, they started mass banning because they're full of themselves.
After we won the game Sunday night, I went on the Charger's site and encouraged them not to get down and reminded them of the year we lost to Buffalo 31-0 and then won the SB.
I actually had a lot of good things to say about their team. I was not a troll.
I'm a mod on a Jets board, and we certainly do welcome other team posters, as long as they are respectful, and particularly if they are witty. We have a handful of pretty good Pats fans. Dirtywater, who posts here and at PatriotsNation made my signature. It's healthy.
What I can't stand is when an opposing team poster signs up, posts "you suck," and then goes away. I mean, what good is that?!! If I suck, I certainly would like to know why, or else I might not be able to ever stop sucking. It'll stick. Like a facial tick, or something.
What you did sounded well within the bounds of respectful posting. Frankly, it sounds like a poorly run board that isn't worthy of my (or your) time.

Actually, it does! I was on the thread I mentioned for the past 2 days, so every reason for my ban HAS to be in that thread, "Why the Rich..."
No one gets banned for "cumulative comments". It's for a specific reason, i.e. trolling, disruption, vulgarity, etc. Had I truly been disruptive, I would not have gotten the number of positive replies I received...and I got many.
Look, I just wanted to bring this to our fans' attention to show that people DON'T WANT TO KNOW THE TRUTH. They just want to see the Patriots and our fans suffer. It's ALL about envy & hatred for most opposing fans.

It's probably more like Charger fans don't especially want to hear the truth particularly from Patriots fans on their board.
Reverse the situation..if the Pats had lost would you be welcoming them with open arms on this board to hear their truths?

Their (most) fans & their site have some of the most sensitive fans I've ever encountered. And I've visited many fan forums...
I don't want to make this more of an issue than it is. Especially in light of other issues that have recently been over publicized. It is what it is.

Since they weren't specific as to why you were banned, no, it doesn't. I wasn't insulting you with my post. Without a precise explanation of why you were banned, people would need to review your entire post history unless something glaring happened to be found.

I was on their board defending BB before their loss. My reason for being there was only to defend our team and this over-blown issue.
I never rubbed our victory in their face as other Pats fans did. I wasn't there to gloat and I told them that. I made it clear I was there as one of the only voices to defend the Patriots from ruthless rumors and accusations.
