Default PFT: Every game in history of NFL called into question

Quote:
NFL PLANS TO VOID ENTIRE NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE

Reports coming out of New York indicate that Roger Goodell is considering a proposal by the NFL's competition committee to void the results of every game played in the history of the NFL, up to and including the first week of the 2007 season, as allegations of cheating have arisen concerning every game ever played.

For example, concerning a 31-0 drubbing of the Chicago Bears by the Portsmouth Spartans in 1931, the last remaining member of the Bears of that era has released a statement saying, "They must have known what was coming at them. We were much better than them, it's unthinkable they would have beaten us otherwise."

Another especially controversial game is Super Bowl III, where Joe Namath's underdog AFL champion Jets defeated the NFL's powerhouse Baltimore Colts in a game for the ages. Colts players of that era have come out saying that Namath's guarantee of victory proves that the Jets had inside knowledge of exactly what plays the Colts were going to run.

The only games escaping scrutiny are those in which the Indianapolis Colts of the Tony Dungy era won, as Dungy is beyond reproach and chosen by God to be the harbinger of justice in the NFL. Commissioner Goodell has cleared Dungy and the Colts of all complaints brought against them.

A ruling is expected imminently on what results the NFL will void. Adam Schefter of NFL Network reports it could be anywhere from most to all of the league's results since its founding in 1920, and Chris Mortensen of ESPN speculates that he could void the entire 2007-8 season as well to preempt any attempts by NFL teams to gain further competitive advantage, as the fact that footballexperts unanimously pick several teams to win over others on a weekly basis drives home the fact that many teams have cheated to gain an edge over their opponents.
Parody of the crap PFT is spewing... "how could the Patriots have won the Super Bowl, they had to have taped our practices or something!"

(Forget the fact Mike Martz and Andy Reid have both come out and said they won fair and square, and John Fox hasn't made a comment on it in something that clearly is none of his business, like a smart man)

So, the Jets cheated vs Colts too. Namath knew the signals. He had sent girls into Colts hotel to steal teir playbook. How else do you explain the one hit wonder

Tony Dungy, who apparently judges everyone except himself.

I loathe him.

In the spirit of Tony Dungy, I say "Amen" to this statement.
