Who cares what people think. I sure as hell don't. People have been dogging this franchise since Jan. 2002 and they will keep dogging it. Nothing is going to change that, no amount of positive press is going to make people like us. So you might as well get used to it.
Or better yet, embrace the villain role. It's a lot of fun, certainly more so than being a goody two shoes.
Also, it's mole hill not mow hill.

I am feeling more depressed than I have in a long time over this. I'll still support the Pats. It is a heart breaker to see this happen though.

I'm curious why you perceive your franchise that way? That's very interesting, because I would say New England is one of the NFL's golden children. I would put NE, Denver, and Dallas as the top three in that regard. Brady is the poster child and for good reason. Oakland is a real villain....NE is (to me) the team that can do no wrong (today's news withstanding).
There's something to be said about being two full seasons removed from your last championship yet still being the evil, evil, Patriots that always win.
btw, I know its mole hill but I can't figure out why. Moles dig, and you can't dig a hill, you have to dig a hole. It should be Mole hole.
