Ok, so you're saying there are real fans here and then some geeks with no life who micro analyze every minute detail of the game and come up with boring negative commentary.
No, there are actual fans here who love football, love breaking down games, and talking X's and O's. And then there are casual fans who are happy if the team does well and probably didn't begin to follow the Pats until after 2001. Both post here, but I bet the "geeks" are more prevelant, and many discussions will go down the nitty-gritty road.

Anyone can break the game down to the X's & O's especially those of us who have played & coached the game. But let us not confuse them with guys who have never played the game and have learned much of what they know by playing madden & fantasy games.
Let's get this straight, the word FAN is derived from the word FANATIC OR FANATICAL. Which means a real fan is based more upon EMOTION than upon geek statistics. We are dedicated and loyal to our team regardless of statistics and we are EMOTIONAL about our team.
Anything less are just PRETENDERS!

OK, just so you know, by not wanting to analyze the games, you're in the minority on this board. So be open-minded to people who have other interests.

As long as we distinguish the difference between the fake fans who are ONLY interested in stats, Madden & Fantasy football & the real fans.
Fan sites are mainly for fans excited about their team. It' not a place for fantasy geeks to meet for tea & crumpets. Madden and fantasy football are ruining what being a fan is truly supposed to be.
YES - he was blocking, I clearly recall seeing him taking his man on during running plays, several times.
I doubt he would be left in for 37 plays if he were dogging it on running plays - also, there successes in the running game would be adversely affected.

PatriotsReign, if you don't have anything good to reply to this post, simply don't reply at all. Those who are interested in the question will. Those who aren't, don't bother replying because it's worthless. By the way, I think we ran the ball a little more than 10% of the time for your information.

Thanks for the clear response.
So much drama for such a simple question.

I guess you misread my comment regarding that moss' job is 90% catching the ball. I said NOTHING about how often we ran it.
I did find the question iteresting to comment upon as the number of my comments will attest. But the source of my interest lay in the negativity of it's nature.

Oh yeah, Moss' blocking is really going to help my fantasy team, that's why I care alright
Sorry we can't all be hard-core fans like yourself, I guess we'll just go back to talking about football.
