I would love to take the bow for my first big "first," and I will share more once the dust clears a bit.

But thank you. I'm very excited, and was *really* scared someone else would be me. I've known for a couple of days and promised I wouldn't say anything til late tonight (Sunday)...

The doofus on Sports Extra reported the newest news is the Pats don't expect Asante back anytime soon.

I hope they're wrong.

Good job! I know it must be difficult for writers to get all these juicy scoops knowing they can't do anything with it (at least until a certain time) or risk having all your sources dry up quickly. I am horrible at keeping a secret especially something as big as this. Congrats on the scoop.
