Default New power rankings by Realfootball365 - Patriots #1

Most of it looks pretty good,I however have strong feelings Oakland is far from the worst team this year as they think,In fact I would not be surprised with Oaklands D which has quietly become one of the best units in the NFL for that team to fall just short of the playoffs at about a 7-9 record.

They are already crowning us Champs - I hate those predictions which puts bad karma on the Pats.

There must be a mistake in these rankings. The Doofins are ranked near the bottom of the entire NFL. I thought FeelMyPain and AquaVelva assured us the Fins were going to take the division in 2007?

I actually pretty much agree with these rankings. A minor carp here or there, but the groupings seem to be spot on.

Jets then Chargers. Is it September yet?

I like how they break up every team into one of the following categories:

1-8 True Superbowl Contenders

9-12 On the Cusp of Elite

13-16 Possible, though not likely, Playoff Teams

17-24 Mediocre

25-32 Already scouting the Brian Brohms, Darren McFaddens, Limas Sweeds and Sam Bakers of the college game

Interesting that Baltimore was put at 14, but I'll buy it.

What is just as hilarious are the people who don't even know their own team. Like the Ravens fans claiming that their O-line could be one of the youngest. Not sure how when they have 33 year old Mike Flynn, 32 year old Jon Ogden and 28 year old Keydrick Vincent. Where they do have help is that Jason Brown and Adam Terry are both 24.

I love how one of them can´t even spell McCown´s name and yet is sure McCown is going to be great.

Looking at the world through purple haze can alter perceptions.
