Default Open 2007 roster spots vs. 2008 roster spots

I'm struggling with BBs seemingly FUish dismissal of the 2007 draft class, and one of my theories is that does he only think there are a handful (4? 5?) spots on the roster that rookies even have a legit spot of taking?

Could that have part to do with pushing everything to 08, when there are a ton of FAs who are up for contracat and thus the Pats could much more likely draft a rookie and have him start?

I think that you just answered your own question. IMO That it exactly what went on with this 1st day of the draft.

Hmm. There's a lot of truth to that.

But it's really an issue for low picks more than high ones.

High picks room always can be made for. Low picks may not be good enough to stick.

You have two players from last year: garrett mills and chad jackson.

look at how many players they signed in free agency, they very rarely have a year like they did this year.

they are stocked at wr where last year in training camp it was reche and that was it because troy was nicked up.

no sense wasting picks , we did our work with proven vets earlier in free agency, if the value wasnt there, move it to next year im comfortable and have faith look at their record
