Might well be true, but with Morris in the mix, that'd be a tough row to hoe. Personally, I'd think hard about the Cardinals. James didn't do squat down there, but with a revamped O line, they might well make a good run at the Division title.
Barring that, there's always the Colts now that Rhodes has left town.......
Or retirement.....

The Cards will not be doing anything nextyear, until they can get an OLine. It is going to take a couple of years, before Grimm and Whisenhunt will be able to make the Cards into a playoff team.

The hardest day of my life... well, not THE hardest, but right up there, was when my son announced he was a Raiders fan.....
If you had been there, you would have seen the blood actually drain from my wife's face. She honestly thought I was going to kill him. I just calmly left the room, grabbed my Patriot's hat, and headed out the door. Made a trip to the local pub for a couple of pints.
My wife (God bless her) told my son to disappear for a coupla days.
Having now been a father, I can honestly say that I completely understand why my own father has no hair. I don't blame him at all for drinking.......

Respects,
ha that's hilarious.
How the hell did he become a raider fan?
how old is he?
did he pretend he was a pats fan or something?

He's 19. I suspect that that is the average age for most Raider fans. He's just enamoured with all the costumes and make up. I told him if he wants costumes and make up there's plenty of jobs in the Theater district......
My son is actually a damned fine musician, and probably has a good future there. However, he has a lot to learn about the rest of life.... especially living in a Patriot's Fan House. I'll forgive a man many many things, but wearing a division rival cap into my house is not one of them.
I don't know if this has been mentioned before but this is what I'm thinking. Dillon had no intentions of retiring. The Patriots approached him about taking a pay cut and he balked. They agreed to give him his release to try and find a better deal and if he can't they will bring him back at whatever price they had previously discussed. Thoughts?
That could be...once the final cap tallies are in (esp in view of the Donte signing) we'll have a better idea.
I'd love to see him back as a purely situational player. He's definitely got some left in the tank but not enough to be Maroney's only sidekick, that much was obvious.
I feel badly for him, too. Initially I thought the Jests would take him but I'm glad they didn't. I really don't want to see him in our division so it's also good he didn't go to Buffalo.
And if your scenario is correct then maybe his declining Buffalo indicates a willingness on his part to renegotiate?
We'll see.
