Default Plenty of room for upgrades

There is plenty of room for upgrades. I have 10 OL's, but one will likely give way to a 3rd QB.
===============================================

12 POSITIONS FOR UPGRADE
#4 OT Britt
#4 WR Kight (the need is really for a #1 receiver)
#5 WR Childress/Sullivan/Brown
#4 DE Hill/Thomas
#7 DL Smith
#5 LB Alexander
#6 LB Woods
#3 CB Scott
#4 CB Gay
#4 S Hawkins
#3 ST Baker
#4 ST Spann

This presumes that Samuel and Harrison will available for Game One.

I'm sure we'll see either an additional drafted lb or db in the first round

and another o-lineman in the first 4 rounds.

I think that Chad Jackson is ahead of Kight on the depth chart.
I think we won't be spending anything on upgrading the #5 WR that is inactive. We will probably look for some UDFAs to compete for that job.
I agree adding a DL looks like an easy upgrade.
I think one more vet LB should be brought in (plus maybe a jag) and then the rest of your list---LB,CB,S should come in the draft.

Based on recent reports from Tomase, Jackson could be ready for training camp, so he won't be a PUP. He's already an upgrade over Kight.

I think maybe some of those get upgrades you list get upgraded in the draft. We've filled so many holes in free agency that the draft can really address these needs you lay out.

My main question now is can the OL be upgraded? I honestly have no idea how to judge OL play other than what is visible to the naked eye in pass protection and the running game. They are great at keeping Brady safe, but the running game was inconsistent...is any of that due to the OL? Can it be upgraded? Or all we all set there? Hopefully some more informed folks than I could chime in on this issue.

Anybody know the typical 45 that dressed last season?

I'm for upgrading any position if they can find a better player than they currently have.

Yes, Jackson might be ready for Training Camp. I will take him off my PUP list as soon as he participates in practice. I don't think we'll rush him back this time.

Of course, Jackson is ahead of Kight if he is healthy enough to play.

I agree...there's no reason to rush him back into games, but it would definitely be preferable if he had the training camp experience. Think of how much that hindered him and held him back all season. I'm really hoping he's able to participate in TC.

Do you mean Asante Samuel? Why wouldn't he be ready? Also, I really like Saubeurn for the last 4 games - much better leg than Miller. Any chance he is signed.
