Default Marshall Faulk on the trading block?

The Rams have been quoted as saying they are no longer interested in retaining Marshall Faulk who wants to come back and play this year,The Rams are expected to release him or in a trade since he is still under contract if he decides to rejoin the league.

I don't blame them,They have an all pro in Steven Jackson and can pay less for a backup RB than having a $$$ guy like Marshall sitting most of the time.

I don't think Marshall is good enough at his age to be a starting RB anymore and would make a superb backup or a guy to share duties in the running game...Imagine Marshall Faulk and Lawrence Maroney in the same backfield...That would be great!

Although I don't like Marshall and he don't really like us,Money talks and if we go after him if he is released I think he would like us rather quickly nd we would be unstoppable in rushing yardage as a whole.

Imagine the headlines 'We are Faulked Again' or 'One Faulk is never enough' (referring to Kevin of course as the other Faulk)

What do you think?,Should we go after him or stay away?

Don't know what he has left. He spent all last year on the sideline and he has a nice gig on the NFL network.
I think he should just walk away and retire.

I have no idea how realistic our chances are of getting him, or how much money he would demand, but I'm all for this if it's feasible.

Faulk is still bitter about SB XXXVI. He'll want more than what he's worth and he's really not a smashmouth runner like Dillon.

Faulk would be some of Maroney and some of Faulk but no Dillon. Nothing new added. Plus, he hasn't been healthy much since SB36. I'd pass, don't even think aboud it.

Money talks? Why would you think the Pats would offer him enough money to convince him to come here? This make no sense at all.

If he got signed to a vet min then fine if he makes it through camp.

Why would it be great? Because you have a future HOFer and and young promising runner combo..That would not be good to you?

No NE probably won't offer much money,They rarily do,but its a possibility like any player thats released or up for trade,Possibly for a mid to low round draft choice or two this year and next?,I would.
