Default Ball Placement on Cowboys 3rd and Goal at the end of the game

At first they gave them the first down after the Witten catch.

then they reviewed it and moved it back much further than possible if they actually did a correct "review".

there is no way the ball can be placed on the 1 and a half yard line after watching that video. It is impossible to come down with that spot unless the refs want the Cowboys to lose, which is the truth.

Sorry the Cowboy receiver never got close to the original placement. They did the review and got the call right.

I didn't think it was a first down but as they didn't have a camera right there it was impossible to reposition it IMO. But, regardless, they were losing they still had to kick the FG.

I agree, the call was correct.

I can buy that it was bad call but I can't buy that it was because the refs didn't want the Cowboys to win.

Sometimes bad calls just happen and it doesn't necessarily reveal that the refs had any motives. They are human and make mistakes.

Damn refs, making Romo bumble the ball
