Default Kinda wish we were playing Saturday

The Jets game will be tough and I'm not overlooking it. But assuming we win it and that Indy beats KC, then I'm concerned that the league will schedule the following weekend's game against San Diego as the Saturday night game. That would only give us 6 days between games, plus a 3000 mile trip, against a well rested team.

If the league were fair, they'd set that game for Sunday at 4. But the allure of the Pats vs Chargers in prime time on Saturday will probably be too tough for them to resist. We'll see, but I wish the Jets game were this Saturday to give us a full week.

Six of one and half a dozen of the other to me, as we had a brutal game in Nashville yesterday and I have to believe the extra day helps before the Jets game. As for the travel, these are growed-up-men.

Yup, plus I wouldn't be so quick to assume we're gonna have to travel 3000 miles. Larry Johnson and Ty Law might have something to say about that. The only caveat is having to play with Trent Green post concussion and with uncle Herm manning the helm of a 4-3 it's not quite the slam dunk it could be.

I just checked cbs' website and they have the early game next saturday (4:30) and the late game on Sunday (4:30). So there is no hint as to when the game at SD would be. If they had the sunday game as the early game (1:00), then there is no doubt sd is playing at home on saturday since they couldn't play at 10:00 AM Pacific Time.

I believe the Pats will destroy the Jets. I believe it will be a complete @$$-whooping of epic proportions... The following week I have a feeling Rivers is going to pull a Pennington against the Pats... you know, the way Pennington went all pop-gun against the Raiders in '02, just a complete meltdown due to mental pressure. He's got alot of heart though, so he'll probably gather himself enough to make a game of it in the 2nd half, but by then the Pats will have a lead, and will salt it away with Maroney. The SD run D has been surprisingly shoddy recently against sub-par competition. Pats beat SD 30-24.
