He is who he is. He will go into the hall of fame. He gave Patriots fans a decade that none of us ever thought we would see, and there still might be a little added in. I thought that last season, following the bitter defeat to the Ravens that he might callit a career. Now I DO believe that this will be the end of the road, and hopefully, hopefully he goes out with another SB ring.
But the time comes for everyone to say goodbye, and hopefully he will do it at a time when his team is not on the bottom of the standings board.
Too many times a coach, or a baseball manager, who has been successful waits too long to hang em up and then, when he does, he only has the bad taste for going out when the team was crashing I hope that is not Belichick's swan song.

... one play off loss and everyone comes out of the wood work. i am starting to agree with some of these posters that it's time for a holiday form this board for a week untill people realise that in 2007 i can't remember if we even won a pre season game... chill winston
