It's hilarious that they can think all the calls went in our favour, wow.

Did anybody else get the impression that in the 4th quarter Grossman actually started airing them out simply because everytime #80 was involved the flags came out? Like, I realize he had single coverage to throw to, but despite that they got way more PI calls than completed passes.

Luckily he got burnt on his final one.

Bears fans really disappointed me these last few days. They really are arrogant and blind. Not as persistently annoying as teenaged Miami trolls, but pretty disgraceful nonetheless.

They are no better then the Colts, Steeler and Eagle Fans just cry babys sorry but the refs with the calls yesterday you thought they were giveing it to the Bears. Same garbage in the Colts game so dont blame us for your loss you lost we made more plays to win.

That guy "howard stearn" took what I posted word for word on a thread that I started last night. He then added one sentence and the world famous "get a clue".

Real original "howard stearn" who ever you are.

I can't believe they think all the calls went our way. I do feel they had some bad calls go against them most notably the two called receptions at the end of the half that were overturned by replay, but how can they say that all the calls went against them when 10 of their 13 points came on two questionable PI calls for over 40 yards a piece. Without those questionable calls, I think the Pats wins by at least two TDs. Let's not forget that the non-call face guarding that might have given Jackson a TD or at least a huge gain.

I wouldn't say that all the calls went the Bears' way and I think the refs were just bad, not biased. But I think the bad calls and non-calls that went against us were more costly than the ones that went against the Bears.

They are looking at everything from only their side. The refs made terrible calls on both sides. That Hawkins PI Call was terrible and a good case could have been made for offensive PI. The one on hobbs was a close call though. And on that false start on the FG, It doesnt matter if a defensive player jumped, there allowed to do that as long as they arent over the LOS when the ball is snapped. And as Rob just mentioned, there was a play I remember where a Patriot receiver (jackson??) went up for the ball and the defender clearly put his hands in the receivers place. The defender never looked back and no case could have been made for playing the pass. But then again there were some calls that werent called against the Patriots. It wasnt a smart Idea to touch that football while it was waiting to be measured. Also there was one play in which berrian got sandwiched between 2 defenders where I thought PI could have been called. And I also remember a replay they showed of Troy Brown covering a bear WR, and Brown was all over him for the whole route. As for the little skirmish, Im not sure what I would have done with that. Light was guilty but so was Tillman, it basically would have been offsetting penalties anyway. The refs for the most part just let the teams play and didnt call any penalties, it was when they started too that things got screwed up. I have ref'd a couple of kids pop warner games and the coaches really dont care if you're real hard on penalties or your soft. You just have to keep the calls consistent for both teams.

By the way did anybody see the thread on Seau's Arm?
http://boards.chicagobears.com/forum...ad/185491.aspx
I got this quote from it:"And while I'm at it, screw Bruschi, too. If I have to see one more story about him and his stroke-addled brain, I'm gonna puke. "
How can you fault a player because he had a stroke, and had the will to come back from it and keep on playing the game? That is terrible.

And then to show them being completly hipocrytical, the bears have a thread on hurting Brady. Talking about having urlacher take a 15 yrd penalty to end brady's career, while right under that is a thread about the pats being the dirtiest team.

LOL, good read.

I was tempted to look around and see if there were any repeats of something i read in an ESPN chat this morning, "if the Bears don't turn the ball over 4 times then they win." Then I realized further reading that site would be impolite (and potentially devastating) to the reasoning and logic centers of my brain

Yeah, it was Jackson you were thinking of on the face guarding.

As far as taking a cheap shot on Brady, every team in the league has done it already. Nothing new there. Urlacher had his shot and he missed in the open field, we all know what a feared scrambler Brady is.
