he did all this thru dedication and hard work. stanley morgan was a high draft pick, strong pedigree, high expectations. troy was a low (8th?) pick, got cut a couple times. worked his way up from practice squad. parcells kept him around, kept him working. like what's happening with bam phillips rite now. so he 's a more old-fashioned example. he Earned It.
the thing about nfl refs: they make ssome awful calls. awful. but they are almost always in position. look for this in games and ya see the ref is almost alwaays Right There, in the frame on the replays. look for it in NCAA games and the difference in quality is remarkable.
