Question What happened to the QB sneak?

I remember back in 2004 (before Koppen got hurt), that the Pats' QB sneak was basically unstoppable--if they needed a yard or less, they'd get it. So--why didn't they use it yesterday?

Brady came out and did a hard count. He looked at the Defense and ALL THE GAPS WERE CLOSED. The same thing happened last week. We used it a couple of times, then Buffalo picked up on it and closed all the middle gaps. You cant run a QB sneak if the hole to sneak to is closed with big bodies.

Brady still uses it often and well. You can't run it every time. Other teams do have some film on this I'm sure they're waiting for it.

It's alive and well, sneaking behind Koppen and Neal when the defense leaves Tommy a crease to work with.

He can't do it EVERY time. I think the QB sneak will be back in action in no time.

I was shocked we didn't go for it at the Jet six at the end of the game.
The previous week we were only up 2 at the 28 and went for it!! If Buffalo
stops us, they only need a fg to win the game. That was a gamble. Yesterday, even if we don't make it they have to go 94 with no timeouts.
Damn near impossible. When they have the gaps stacked to stop the qb
sneak. I'd like to see some play-action. You know they're sold out to
stop the run. Even if Brady gets pressured. Throw it away and give it
to em at the 6. A couple of td's to one our te's and teams won't be
lined up to stop that sneak. Maybe, we can use D.Thomas to fill that
role. Kind of like what Vrabel did in those Super Bowls. Thomas was
very sure-handed in college. And, I have faith he will snag the ball.
