Re: Dinner with Bill Belichick
The only dinner I ever had with the Patriots I was threatened with death.
Back in the 80s my company bought advt on the Pats radio segment, so my boss got invited to events. A true geek, he opted out and I went. Sat next to Sugar Bear Hamilton & his wife. He left the table and as I eyed his tasty full plate of food, his wife explained the horrific consequences should I give into temptation and steal some of it. "Ray takes his food VERY seriously."

Throughout history, poverty is the normal condition of man. Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded — here and there, now and then — are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all right-thinking people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty.
This is known as "bad luck." RAH
